Bonding is easy. You walk in today, let’s say a patient walks in and says, hey I have this tooth that’s really three teeth are discolored. A lot of times patients back in the day have taken certain antibiotics that have stained their teeth, made the teeth look completely blue, gray.
Some people have almost very dark teeth and they’re not smiling. They’re not smiling for a long time and bonding is a very quick efficient way to give them that smile instantly and see what it may look like. If they’re happy and they’re happy in the future then they can choose to go the permanent route which could be ceramic veneers.
At least they have an idea of what a temporary smile makeover look like and that temporary doesn’t mean it’s one month or two months. It could be for two, three, four years versus somebody if they say hey I really love the bonding I would now like to have a permanent solution. Once they know what the temporary solution look like then they can go and absolutely make the decision on veneers at that point.
