Dr. Antal Barbela graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has been practicing dentistry for the past 8 years. His treatment philosophy focuses on patient needs first. Listening to the patient and providing a conservative and exceptional quality approach to solving dental problems. Dr. Barbela also understands the human need to be cared for and comforted. He makes sure that his patients enjoy their experience at Dental Center of Jacksonville focusing on lowering dental anxiety and taking the time to make sure all patients have a gentle and anxiety free experience.

Starting at undergraduate studies at Georgia State University, through going to the same dental school at Nova Southeastern University, to both arriving and making Jacksonville their home town, Dr. Antal Barbela and Dr. Jignesh Patel have known each other for over 12 years, They have shared a common bond in there passion for dentistry and treating patients, as well as share the same treatment philosophy of a caring and conservative approach.

Dr. Barbela is always active and his curiosity about the world has led him on some great adventures across the globe. He enjoys a healthy active lifestyle and stays fit by running and working out and is a proud father of his Boston Terrier named Miles. His biggest passion is cooking, for which he has become quite famous amongst family and friends.
